What you need to know about the role
As Master Data Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the creation, maintenance and review of vendor and employee master data, ensuring this is in line with business policy and data security / GDPR practices. You will also be responsible for processing updates via ARIBA (Vendor IT Portal) and by manual update in SAP.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the accuracy, completeness and security of vendor master data in S4 Hana
- Maintenance of vendor and employee master data. This includes creation, amendment and deletion of master data in SAP
- Review and approval of vendor master data updates via ARIBA to SAP
- Manual update of vendor master data in SAP
- Creation of One Time and Payment Only vendors
- Processing Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) workflow related to Master Data Maintenance (MDM)
- Update of bank details ensuring relevant security procedures are followed
- Regular ongoing review and cleansing of vendor master data
What we need to know about you
- Educated to A-Level or equivalent
- Prior experience in Master Data and Accounts Payable Processes
- Extensive Knowledge of P2P Processes
- Previous experience using financial systems
- High attention to detail
