Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

What will you be doing?
- Providing high-quality HR advice and operational support to managers across a range of people matters, including employee relations, change management, absence, and performance management.
- Advising managers on policy application and best practice, ensuring decisions are legally compliant, values-led and aligned to British Cycling’s ways of working.
- Drafting and reviewing HR documentation, including letters, role profiles, , meeting notes and outcome correspondence.
- Working closely with the People Team to progress casework, maintain accurate records and ensure timely follow-up on actions.
- Supporting the implementation of people projects linked to organisational change, culture, engagement and workforce planning.
- Building trusted relationships with managers and colleagues, offering pragmatic, balanced and commercially aware HR guidance.
- Helping to identify opportunities to improve people processes, templates and ways of working so that the People Team continues to provide a clear, consistent and effective service.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong generalist HR experience, ideally gained in a complex, changing or fast-paced organisation.
- Experience of managing employee relations casework and supporting organisational change.
- Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice, with the ability to apply this in a practical and proportionate way.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate and professional documentation.
- Confidence in advising and coaching managers, balancing empathy with sound judgement and organisational need.
- A collaborative, discreet and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to work at pace while maintaining attention to detail.
