We're looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and dependable Café Team Member to join our growing, family-run café.

About the Role
This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same. Duties will include:
- Welcoming customers and providing outstanding customer service
- Taking customer orders and operating the till
- Preparing and serving teas, coffees and speciality drinks
- Plating and serving food to a consistently high standard
- Assisting with basic food preparation in the kitchen
- Clearing and resetting tables
- Washing up, cleaning and keeping the kitchen organised
- Maintaining excellent hygiene and cleanliness throughout the café
- Supporting colleagues and helping wherever needed to ensure the smooth running of the café

Experience & Requirements
Previous experience within a café, coffee shop, restaurant or hospitality environment is required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience operating a till and taking customer orders
- Previous barista experience and confidence preparing quality coffees (preferred)
- A Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (or be willing to complete one before or shortly after starting, which can be arranged if required)
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
Due to our rural location, applicants should have their own reliable transport, as public transport to and from the café is limited.
Hours & Pay
- 16–30 hours per week (depending on the successful applicant)
- Working 3–4 days per week, between Wednesday and Sunday
- Typical working hours are between 9:30am – 5:00pm
- Weekend working is essential as part of the rota
- National Minimum Wage (age dependent)
