Bumble Hole Foods is looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join our hard-boiled egg production team.
We are a well-established egg processor, producing high-quality hard-boiled and liquid egg products. We take pride in producing safe, reliable products for our customers and creating a supportive workplace for our team.
In this role, you will be involved in the production of hard-boiled eggs from start to finish, helping to ensure every product is safely prepared, peeled, checked and packed to our high standards. Previous experience in a factory, food-production or packing environment would be an advantage, but it is not essential — full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Main duties
- Supporting the cooking, cooling, peeling and packing of hard-boiled eggs
- Checking peeled eggs for quality, appearance and damaged shells
- Packing products accurately to required specifications
- Following food-safety, hygiene and health-and-safety procedures at all times
- Keeping production areas, equipment and workstations clean and organised
- Reporting product, equipment or quality issues to your supervisor
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
What we’re looking for
- Previous factory, food-production or packing experience is desirable
- A dependable, positive attitude and good timekeeping
- Good attention to detail, particularly when checking product quality
- Ability to work on your feet and carry out repetitive tasks
- Willingness to learn and follow procedures
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Able to work 7am - 3pm Monday - Friday.
