Aims of the post:
The Sports Teaching Assistant will support the delivery of sport, physical activity, and enrichment sessions for learners aged 11 –1 6 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The role will use sport and physical activity as a tool to engage learners, build confidence, develop teamwork, and improve emotional wellbeing.
In addition, the post-holder will support learners across a range of other curriculum subjects, ensuring a consistent, nurturing approach to learning both inside and outside the classroom.
The role requires a flexible, patient, and proactive individual who can adapt to the varied needs of learners and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and structured environment.
