The Role
We're seeking an experienced 1st and 2nd fix carpenter to work across a variety of high-quality residential renovation, extension, and loft-conversion projects throughout Bristol. You'll be a key part of a close-knit, qualified team, working directly on projects that we're proud to put our name to.
1st Fix Responsibilities
- Structural carpentry including floor joists, stud partitions, and roofing timbers
- Installing floor and roof structures, door linings, and window fitting
- Fitting studwork and noggins ready for plastering
- Working from drawings and to building regulations
2nd Fix Responsibilities
- Hanging doors and fitting architrave, skirting, and mouldings
- Fitting kitchens, wardrobes, and fitted furniture
- Installing staircases, handrails, and finishing joinery
- Delivering a high standard of finish on customer-facing work
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in both 1st and 2nd fix carpentry (essential)
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry & Joinery or time-served equivalent
- Valid CSCS card
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Own hand tools and reliable transport
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and a good team player, attitude matters to us
- Full UK driving licence
