- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records promptly
- Handle shipping and receiving processes efficiently, verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring proper storage
- Support materials handling tasks, including load securing, transportation within the warehouse, and organizing stock for easy access
- Maintain mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other machinery
- Follow safety procedures diligently during heavy lifting activities and when working with construction-related materials
Skills
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with a strong understanding of stock management and materials handling
- Mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment troubleshooting and basic maintenance tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomic practices
- Construction experience or familiarity with construction materials is a plus, supporting the handling of specialized items
