Prideaux Lodge is looking for day time health care assistants to join our friendly residential dementia home based in little common.
Skills and personal characteristics needed to do the job of a healthcare assistant,
you'll need to be
- caring and kind
- cheerful and friendly
- willing to be hands-on with patients
- willing to do personal care tasks (washing, toileting, etc)
- able to follow instructions and procedures
- able to work in a team but use their own initiative
You'll also need
- Good communication skills, including listening
- organisation skills
- observational skills
We provide on site training with the option of taking the training further by doing your diploma in heath and social care with our training company Sussex downs college. If you are interested have a look at our website and see for yourself.
