Job Title: Production Team Leader - Cushion Pads

Salary: £12.71 per hour (Starting rate, fully negotiable upon meeting and maintaining daily production targets)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
About Us
We are an established home textiles manufacturer based in Bolton. We produce quality cushion pads and soft furnishings for our customers. We are looking for a hands-on Production Team Leader to join our busy factory floor.
The Role
This is a lead-by-example position. You will spend the majority of your time working directly on the cushion pad production line, operating machinery and packing items. At the same time, you will guide, motivate, and organize the team to hit our daily output goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Work hands-on on the production line operating filling and packing machinery.
- Lead, motivate, and direct team members during the shift.
- Monitor daily output and help solve any line bottlenecks or machine slowdowns.
- Check product quality to ensure correct filling weights and high standards.
- Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
- Follow and enforce all site health and safety rules.
What We Need From You
- Experience working in a factory, manufacturing, or production environment (textile or fibre filling experience is a big plus).
- Previous experience leading, supervising, or mentoring a small team.
- A strong, proactive work ethic and willingness to do physical work.
- Reliable timekeeping and good communication skills

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 – 47.5 per week
