We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity within our Youth Partnership Service, where you’ll provide for prevention and early intervention in respect of vulnerable young people aged 10 – 18.
You’ll work closely with professionals from a range of support agencies including acting as Lead Professional to plan and deliver intervention support for referred young people through a whole family approach. You’ll take the lead on the delivery of evidence based personal and social development opportunities for young people.
To be successful in this role, you will need an in depth ability to engage and build sustainable and positive relationships with vulnerable and disengaged children and young people and their families.
You’ll have the ability to build and sustain relationships with key staff whilst effecting influence through professional challenge as well as be able to interpret and identify development needs of young people and be able to devise a plan of action to meet these needs using evidence based practice.
You must have demonstrable knowledge the core principles of youth work, including a JNC recognised professional youth work qualification or equivalent qualification.
You’ll have an understanding of youth and family related evidence based practice, relevant legislation, and policy. This is a public facing role so you’ll need to show off your fluency in speaking and writing English.

Because of the nature of this job, it will be necessary for the appropriate level of criminal record disclosure to be undertaken.
