Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man/Woman to join our team managing our property portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of skills and experience in general maintenance and repair tasks. This role is essential for ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and that all repairs are completed efficiently. The Handy Man /Woman will work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive working environment.
This is a part time role minimum 2 days per week.
Flexibility on working days.
Driving License essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, fixtures, and fittings.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems in a timely manner.
- Carry out general maintenance tasks as required.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of furniture or fixtures for events or projects.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Handy Man/Woman or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various repair techniques and methods.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical condition, capable of lifting heavy objects when necessary.
- Valid driving license is essential.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
