Job Title: Mobile Security Officer
Location: Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday (Nights only 1900 - 0700) or Wednesday - Sunday (Nights only 1900 - 0700)
Payrate: Starting amount is £41,340 Payrate will increase for guards trained on all mobile rounds and completing certain requirements.
Job Summary:
As a Mobile Security Officer, you will be responsible for patrolling multiple client sites to ensure the safety and security of property, assets, and personnel. You will be required to respond to alarms, conduct inspections, and provide a visible security presence while maintaining professional conduct at all times. Company vehicle and fuel provided for the position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol designated sites using a company vehicle as per assigned schedule.
- Locking and unlocking assigned sites.
- Conduct site inspections, including checking doors, windows, gates, and equipment.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, or emergency situations in a timely and effective manner.
- Complete daily reports, incident reports, and logs accurately and promptly.
- Monitor for suspicious activity and enforce security protocols.
- Liaise with emergency services when required.
- Provide customer service to clients, staff, and the general public while on patrol.
- Report maintenance issues or hazards observed during patrols.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and site-specific instructions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid SIA security licence or certification.
- Valid manual driver’s licence.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and observational skills.
- Must be physically fit and able to walk, stand, or drive for extended periods.
- Flexible schedule; willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, or driving.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Work Environment:
- Mobile patrol in company vehicle between multiple locations.
- Exposure to a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
