Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional service standards. Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the restaurant, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Supervise and motivate staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, fostering a positive team environment.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to uphold quality standards and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the premises.
- Coordinate food production activities, including menu planning and inventory management.
- Monitor service delivery to ensure guests receive attentive and professional hospitality.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Train new staff members in service procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Collaborate with suppliers to manage stock levels and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain organised records of sales, expenses, and staff schedules.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within hospitality settings.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Previous experience in culinary arts or hotel environments is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills with a friendly yet professional demeanour.
- Experience serving guests in a hospitality setting is preferred.
- Additional skills such as barista experience or bar management are desirable but not essential.
