Job Overview:
Independent tyre business looking for Tyre Technician who has a good knowledge of tyres, experience essential. As a Tyre Technician, you will be responsible for performing tyre repairs, installations, and maintenance for our customers. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work with hand and power tools.
Duties:
- Perform tyre repairs, replacements, and rotations
- Mount and balance tyres on vehicles
- Inspect tires for wear, damage, or other issues
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate tyres for their vehicles
- Maintain accurate records of tyre services performed
- Ensure proper inflation and alignment of tyres
- Clean and organize work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Tyre Technician or in a similar role preferred
- Mechanical knowledge
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as needed
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
