We're looking for a Quality and Performance Manager to join our Sizewell C team based in Suffolk.

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Technical Delivery Team working on Sizewell C, a major 3.2-gigawatt nuclear power station under construction on the Suffolk coast. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you'll take ownership of quality compliance and assurance activities, ensuring successful handover of works to the client while managing a team of quality inspectors and completion engineers.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Quality and Performance Manager, you'll be working within the Technical Delivery Team, supporting them in managing all technical aspects of quality and assurance. Your day to day will include:
- Overseeing quality inspection and control activities on site and owning the project quality and handover strategies,
- Managing quality inspectors and handover engineers while liaising with project managers, delivery teams and client representatives,
- Implementing and ensuring adherence to project procedures, specifications and quality plans in line with British and International Standards,
- Managing the Inspection Test Plans process and reviewing quality documentation including Lifetime Quality Records and End of Construction Records,
- Delivering quality related briefings and training, managing compliance through audits and surveillance programmes.
What are we looking for?
This role of Quality and Performance Manager is great for you if:
- You have practical experience managing quality in a construction environment including civil infrastructure projects, structures or earthworks,
- You hold an HND/Degree or equivalent in Construction or a related subject,
- You have strong knowledge of civil design standards and construction methods with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications,
- You possess excellent communication skills and enjoy building collaborative relationships across teams and with clients,
- You hold a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card and are computer literate with strong record-keeping abilities.
