Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full Time/Part Time Gymnastics Coach and Programme Manager to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and develop gymnasts of all ages and skill levels while managing programme operations effectively. Duties
- Deliver high-quality gymnastics coaching sessions tailored to different age groups and ability levels
- Develop and implement engaging training programmes that promote skill development, safety, and enjoyment
- Manage the organisation of classes, workshops, and specialised programmes to ensure smooth operation
- Monitor and assess gymnast progress, providing constructive feedback and personalised support
- Maintain a safe training environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
- Oversee the scheduling of classes, staff rotas, and equipment maintenance
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages participation, teamwork, and confidence among gymnasts
- Assist in marketing initiatives to promote programmes and increase enrolment
- Support the organisation of competitions, displays, or community events related to gymnastics
Experience
- Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably within gymnastics or similar physical activities
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to motivate and engage participants of various ages and abilities
- Knowledge of gymnastics techniques, safety procedures, and programme management is desirable
- Previous experience in programme organisation or management is advantageous
- Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are preferred but not essential for entry-level candidates willing to undertake training
