About the role: as the CBRE EMEA Procurement Manager, you will beresponsible for sourcing, negotiating, and performance managing serviceproviders for outsourced services for a Fortune 500 company client, across theEMEA region. You will assist internal and external stakeholders with thedevelopment and execution of sourcing and procurement strategies.
You will be part of the Procurement function, integrated withinthe Operations team. You will beresponsible for supporting our client account Operations and Finance teamsdelivering principal and agent services in more than 40 countries function foroperation sites in the EMEA region
Key Responsibilities
- Identify market trends, short andlong-term sourcing options, and short and long-term partnering opportunitieswith vendors.
- Planning and leading negotiations,and implementing procurement initiatives to improve quality of service whileminimizing cost.
- Demonstrating subject matterexpertise to provide guidance to relevant stakeholders on procurement processesincluding all risk/regulatory/compliance requirements.
- Sourcing execution expertisesupport to manage and deliver commercial negotiations with vendors.
- Assist with creating RFQ’s / RFP’sand ITB, selecting solutions, and negotiating.
- Prepare and maintain contractswith national and regional service providers. Ensure contracts adhere tocompany standards, and maintaining a library of up-to-date, compliant contractsfor the region
- Manage supplier and contractorcertification process. Conduct periodic visits to client and supplier locationsto review vendor performance.
- Transitioning client managingagent spend to principal service delivery
- Coordinate periodic supplierbusiness reviews with key stakeholders; and leveraging CBRE GWS’s software tomanage.
- Facilitate corrective action plansfor under-performing suppliers to stabilize performance.
- Prepare contract documentation andmanage contract amendment and contract extension, termination, expirationprocedures.
- Engaging with key stakeholders,aligned to CBRE and client policies and control areas to ensure mitigation ofbusiness risks, and achieve favorable terms for any contract agreements.
- Ensuring timely communication andstatus updates, agreeing realistic timeframes, and adhering to SLAs
- Developing high qualitystakeholder briefings with excellent writing skills at both at serviceprocurement strategy and final award phase
- Manage vendor key performanceindicators (KPIs) and fees at risk (FARs)
- Manage the planning, tracking andreporting of the Annual Savings Targets and maintenance of savings database.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- 5-8 years of experience leadingstrategic sourcing initiatives specifically for hard and soft FM services
- Experience in developing andnegotiating contracts with suppliers.
- Experience managing a sourcingprogram across geographies, providing hands-on support to FM Operations andFinance teams.
- Strong analytical capabilities toevaluate deals and understand what fair and optimal pricing structures are.
- Has a solid understanding ofFacilities Management Services
- Experience working in a contractmanagement environment with an FM service provider will be an added advantage.
- Has a proven track record ofmanaging bids up to $2m USD.
- Ability to use metrics andreporting software to support presentations (internal, client-facing, andexternal)
- Strong interpersonal skills with aproven ability to work in teams.
- Ability to communicate effectivelywith internal and external stakeholders with excellent presentation skills.
