The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Social Media Assistant to join our online award-winning money saving team. Enjoy searching for a bargain online? If so, this role could be made for you.
Working in a fast-paced online consumer community, you’ll be responsible for promoting a range of products as well as using our unique online content to help engage and influence Redu’s Ashleigh Money Saver audience of over 1 million followers.

Here is an overview of the role and responsibilities:
- Searching online retail sites to source the best money-saving deals, plus size fashion and kids products. This will be targeted at a primarily female audience, aged 25-44, nationally located.
- Visiting stores to get content for engagement purposes, both pictures & video content.
- Writing concise and engaging copy on Facebook to maximise audience interaction and click-through rates to online retailers.
- Monitoring competitors closely to identify popular deals and entertaining content.
- Monitoring audience feedback on social media pages, responding to enquiries in a timely manner and using feedback to influence future product selection
- Staying on the pulse of online shopping habits and popular products in the marketplace.
We would love you to have:
- Good written skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy, especially in spelling and grammar.
- Social media platform experience primarily in Facebook/Instagram; we are expanding our reach so do tells us what additional social media platforms you have been using.
- A keen interest in money saving and an eye for a bargain
- Experience creating a variety of content for social media platforms, either for personal or business use.
- Have a confident and bubbly personality that comes across on screen.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Work in a target driven environment to set daily deadlines.
- Understand the basics of original and unique content.
- Basic Wordpress skills.
- Have a customer first ethos and excellent customer service skills.
- Be forward thinking and innovative, our culture is all about this.
- Be a team player and a can do attitude.
