We require a reliable and work proud individual to join our small team. We are a small childcare setting open most of the year and require a cleaner for 1 hours per day Monday to Friday to help keep our setting clean and hygienic for the children who attend. You can choose to clean either early morning for 1 hour each day ( 6.00am- 7.00pm) or similar time. We open for the day at 7.30am so would need to be done before this or in the evening after 6.00pm for 1 hours each day. It would need to be the same each day and agreed on offer of the job which end of the day you will be cleaning. We would be willing to offer a job share if someone could not do each day of the week to the right person. We would consider self-employment/sub-contracted and would welcome discussions and bids if necessary. We open Monday to Friday term time and in school holidays. We close for a period over Christmas and for 1 week at the end of the summer holiday period where you would be paid annual leave including all bank holidays. Additional holiday allowance offered. Sick Pay offered. Option to join pension scheme.
Responsibilities and Skills
- To keep the spaces clean each day by hoovering all areas, mopping the floors, cleaning the toilets and basins, cleaning and emptying the bins, wiping round doors and frames and window ledges, occasional window clean ( ground level) and fridge
- Open and close the setting out of hours to clean, therefore being a key holder

- Communicate to Manager when stocks are low
- Good time keeper and able to self manage time worked independent of direct supervision
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Trustworthy
- Reasonable physical ability to bend, lift and stretch as required
- We will require you to undertake a DBS ( police check) due to the nature of the work place and we require recent references including most recent employers.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
