Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver, operating across all licence classes including 3.5-tonne, 7.5-tonne, Class 2, and Class 1 vehicles. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles across various licence classes to transport goods to customer locations and distribution centers
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of items in compliance with safety standards
- Communicate effectively with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery documentation for accountability
- Assist in warehouse activities such as inventory management, stock replenishment, and heavy lifting when required
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle class being operated (including all licence classes from 3.5t to Class 1)
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and ability to perform heavy lifting safely
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS or route planning tools
- Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and long periods of driving or standing
- A clean driving record with no major infractions or violations
