We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Catering Assistant to join our team at Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone.
You’ll help prepare and serve food to young people, support our busy kitchen, and play a part in creating a welcoming, positive environment.
What you’ll do
- Help prepare and serve hot meals
- Work on our tuck shop (cash handling & till use)
- Keep kitchen and service areas clean and safe
- Support food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Deliver great customer service to young people and visitors
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a kitchen or catering environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Confident working with young people
- Able to work evenings and weekends
- Reliable and flexible

This is a mainly evenings and weekends, across both Blackburn and Darwen sites.
