As a food start-up flexibility and an open mind will be needed. You will be working closely with a small team and as such we’re expecting you to pick up things quickly.
For this particular role, we are looking for someone with previous cooking experience, preferably on the grill. This position does warrant a higher rate of pay due to the nature of the role. If you don’t have the experience, be prepared to be thrown in at the deep end which will be a rewarding experience for any aspiring chef.
Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods of time when cooking and preparing food.
To work as a team player and maintain an excellent work ethic.
To uphold communication and leadership skills during service.
To maintain a safe and an extremely sanitary environment.
To uphold expectations of high-volume cooking which will require excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to sustainably work in a fast paced environment.
