Chef – The Potting Shed

Serving up a popular menu of handcrafted pizzas, stacked burgers, and quality pub classics, we pride ourselves on delivering great food and great experiences to every guest. We're looking for someone who can keep calm under pressure, maintain high standards, and enjoy being part of a fun and supportive kitchen team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and cooking our menu to a consistently high standard.
- Working efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Supporting the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Ensuring all food is presented to specification and served promptly.
- Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
- Assisting with stock rotation, deliveries, and kitchen organisation.
- Contributing ideas and enthusiasm to help drive the kitchen forward.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment.
- Confidence cooking a variety of dishes, including pizzas, burgers, and pub favourites.
- A positive attitude and strong team-player mentality.
- The ability to stay organised and focused during peak trading periods.
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Reliability, flexibility, and a genuine passion for great food.
