We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Pastoral Assistant on a temporary 12-month contract to join our passionate and committed pastoral team.
As our Pastoral Assistant, you will work with college leaders, teachers, support staff and senior leadership team in addressing the needs of students who require help to overcome barriers to learning in the academy.

About you:
This is a key pastoral role within the academy and there is a requirement to lead in the development strategies relating to the pastoral needs of the students. The post holder will also work with families to fully support students.
Main responsibilities of the role are:
- To mentor individuals or a small group of students who require additional support to overcome barriers to learning.
- Identify the needs and assess those students requiring extra support and support the development of individual action plans for targeted students.

Work in a 1-2-1 relationship with targeted students to implement action plan.
