The Traddock Hotel in the village of Austwick (near Settle) in the Yorkshire Dales is a family run 14 bedroom, Luxury hotel and fine dining restaurant. We offer exceptional service and stunning food in a warm and welcoming environment. We hold 5 silver AA stars, 3 AA rosettes and an AA Breakfast Award.
We're looking for waiting staff to join our friendly team.
The role
- Serving customers in our restaurant, bar and lounges offering the highest standards of friendly and professional service
- Learning, understanding and serving fine dining menus to customers, including tasting menus
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and tidiness in the front of house and back of house areas
- Supporting the Hotel reception team by answering the phone, dealing with customer queries and checking guests in
Applicants must
- Have previous experience working front of house in a restaurant or hotel
- Be a great team player who enjoys working with others
- Understand the importance of providing the highest standards of customer service
- Have a friendly personality
- Show attention to detail in all that you do
- Be keen to learn
The hours
Full time, approximately 40 hours a week over 5 days including weekends and evenings.
The hotel is in the village of Austwick, 5 minutes drive from Settle, 40 minutes from Skipton and Kendal, and easily accessible from the A65.
Own transport and ability to commute is essential as we are in a rural location, and accommodation is not available for this position.
