The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is looking for flexible and reliable individuals to work as facilities technicians at Seacroft Hospital & Chapel Allerton Hospital.
You’ll play a vital part in helping to keep our patients, visitors, and staff safe, by ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, ensure our patients are well-fed by providing meal services and you’ll work closely with all teams on site by supporting the delivery of excellent patient care.
We currently have permanent vacancies, to work on Wards & department areas or as a porter.
- Post one: M-F 0730-1400 (30 hours) domestic - Seacroft
- Post two: M-F 1500-1900 (20 hours) domestic - Seacroft
- Post three: M-F 1530-2130 (30 hours) domestic - Seacroft
- Post four: M-F 1230-1900 (30 hours) domestic - Seacroft
- Post five: rolling shift pattern shift pattern (37.5hrs) porter Chapel Allerton
- Post six: M-F 1445 1930 (23.75hrs) domestic Chapel Allerton
Successful applicants will be invited to an interview assessment centre held on Friday 14th August 2026. The assessment centre will consist of an interview with set questions for the candidates around activities such as cleaning, ward food service, task prioritisation, infection prevention. Details of which may be taken from the attached job description. There will also be a short interactive test where the candidate is asked to take part in a mock patient interaction relating to something likely to be within the role expectation such as asking for directions, or having to complete the meal food order
A full enhanced DBS check will be required for all roles
