Overview
We are seeking a responsible and experienced School Minibus Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and ensuring punctuality and safety at all times. This role offers an opportunity to work within a supportive environment, contributing to the smooth operation of our educational programmes. The ideal applicant will possess strong driving skills, good communication abilities, and Customer Service skills. DBS is Essential. This is a permanent on-going Contract
Responsibilities
- Safely operate the school minibus, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Transport students to and from school premises.
- Conduct routine checks on the minibus to ensure it is in good working condition, including basic maintenance tasks.
- Report any mechanical issues promptly and liaise with maintenance teams for repairs.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding schedules or any delays.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers during transit.
MINIMUM REQUIREMNETS:
- PCV D1 Licensed
- CPC Card
- A minimum of 3 Years Driving Experience in the UK (Preferred). MIN age 25
- Ideally Living in the Solihull and surrounding areas.
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Good Punctuality & Reliability
- Ability to work as part of a team
- A caring attitude towards passengers and an ability to show empathy and respect
- Willingness to undergo Induction & Continuous Training
- DBS Certificate ( Enhanced )
