Overview
A leading organiser of large-scale outdoor consumer events is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Operations Executive to join its growing Operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in event operations. Working alongside experienced event professionals, you will support the planning and delivery of one of the UK's leading outdoor consumer events, gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of event management from planning through to onsite delivery.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Operations and supporting the wider Operations team, you will assist with the planning, coordination and delivery of a large-scale outdoor consumer event. This varied role provides exposure to supplier coordination, exhibitor support, logistics, infrastructure, administration and onsite event management.
Key Responsibilities
· Support the planning and delivery of a large-scale outdoor consumer event.
· Maintain event plans, schedules and operational documentation.
· Coordinate supplier information, quotations and purchase orders.
· Support contractor and supplier management.
· Assist with exhibitor operations and communications.
· Support site infrastructure including marquees, utilities, signage and temporary facilities.
· Attend planning meetings and site visits.
· Prepare operational documents and event manuals.
· Assist with health & safety documentation and compliance records.
· Support the Operations team during build, live event and breakdown.
· Respond to operational enquiries from exhibitors, contractors and suppliers.
· Monitor project timelines and support delivery against deadlines.
· Provide administrative support to the Operations department.
· Work collaboratively with commercial, marketing and exhibitor teams.
· Assist with onsite problem-solving under senior guidance.
About You
· Previous experience in events, hospitality or project coordination is desirable but not essential.
· Passion for live events and a desire to build a career in event operations.
· Excellent organisational and communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Confident using Microsoft Office.
· Positive, proactive attitude with willingness to learn.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
· Willingness to travel to event sites and work extended hours during live events.
· Full UK driving licence desirable.

Pay: £24,420.00-£28,000.00 per year
