We are recruiting an office based Nursery Deputy Manager to work for a private day Nursery based close to Ipswich (East of the City). The role is working full time, alongside a really friendly and welcoming Nursery Manager. This Nursery caters for up to 95 children from 0-5yrs. There is plenty of off site parking as well as a staff room with kitchen facilities.
The role of Nursery Deputy Manager will include:
- Supporting the Manager and dividing responsibilities in the day to day management of the nursery
- Carrying out office based tasks including funding, invoicing, payroll, emails, admin.
- Work with Famly software
- Support, lead and motivate a team of Nursery practitioners and Room Leaders
- Building solid parent partnerships
- Driving excellent Early Years practice throughout the nursery
- Covering all aspects of deputising and managing the nursery
As the Nursery Deputy Manager you will need to have:
- Full and relevant early years qualification
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager is essential
- Able to lead and motivate a team, in a friendly way
- Proven success at supervising staff (min. 2 years as a Room Leader)
- Excellent EYFS knowledge and able to implement high quality practice
- Excellent parent partnerships
