Full-Time – Waking Night Youth Development Support Worker
Location: Grantham NG32 Area
Shift Pattern: Rolling rota
Shift times: 20:00pm – 08:00am (average 42 hours per week)

About the Role
We are recruiting for a Waking Night Youth Development Support Worker to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable young people. These young people have experienced early trauma, neglect, and significant challenges, and require high-quality therapeutic support. You will be supported by 1 or 2 sleep-ins.
You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment while promoting independence, resilience, and positive outcomes.
This role is suited to someone who is:
- Enthusiastic and passionate about supporting young people
- Experienced in lone working on waking nights (minimum 12 months)
- Committed to safeguarding, therapeutic practice, and managing dysregulated behaviour
Pay & Progression
- Level 2: £32,861.56 (£15.05/hr)
12+ months waking night experience without L3 Diploma
- Level 3: £34,008.16 (£15.57/hr)
12+ months waking night experience + 50% completed L3 Diploma
- Level 4: £36,049.10 (£16.51/hr)
12+ months waking night experience + completed L3 Diploma
Qualifications
- Essential: 12 months+ waking night experience in a similar setting
- Desirable: Level 3 / 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- If not yet achieved, we will support you to complete the qualification
