Job Purpose To provide the very best, CQC ‘Outstanding’ care to our clients and their families, meeting and exceeding expectations. Supporting the ongoing management and development of the client supervisor network and its activities.
The Role expectations (All are additional roles to usual supervisor role criteria)
· Conduct initial care consultations fully independently when required and have an advanced understanding of the client service agreement and new client sign up process in order to also support others to develop into this role.
· Being responsible for your portfolio of existing as well as new clients ensuring regular, appropriate contact and support throughout each individuals client journey in accordance with pre-determined and ad hoc touchpoints.
· Action any client enquiries in the absence of senior management.
· Be knowledgeable about the funding criteria of local councils/CHC and guide the rest of the team around company goals surrounding this.
· Be able to support the wider team with any quotes on pricing as required.
· Support live in care duties as and when needed.
· Be confident in taking a lead role within any disciplinary hearing when needed, referring to the relevant policies.
· Be proactive in informing management of any updates to national office templates/ paperwork via internal communications.
· Have the flexibility to support in additional work required leading up to any audit or inspections.
· Conduct client and Care Professional introductions when required.
· Build and maintain positive relationships with all office staff and actively manage any challenging environments and or behaviours.
· Act a lead in supporting all office staff with questions and decision making in the absence of management.
· Participate in on-call duties as required with increased flexibility vs regular supervisor position.
· Investigate and provide solutions to any issues raised and be proactive in leading by example.
· Ensure compliance with Home Instead’s Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy, in respect of employment and service delivery.
· Be able to deliver in-depth KPI’s during team meetings in line with company monthly targets.
· Support the ongoing recording of absences and lateness to report to management.
· Be a role model in the behaviours expected of a manager and lead by example.
· Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the business.
· Be a self-directed learner with a drive to develop personally in professional leadership and compliance standards.
Essential Criteria
· Passion for delivering the highest quality care to our clients and helping them to live independently and happily in their own homes.
· Experience in a process/people management role.
· Experience of managing people and challenging conversations.
· Working towards Level 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care or Leadership and management.
· Advanced knowledge and understanding of legislation and regulations specific to Health and Social Care.
· Good communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and manage conflict as needed.
· Must be confident to use care management technology including providing support and training to Care Professionals and office staff as required.
· Must understand the importance of confidentiality working within current legislation.
· Good working knowledge of IT systems with experience of Microsoft Office or Google Suite and virtual communication platforms with the aptitude to learn and adopt new technologies and software where appropriate.
· Must have full driving license and means of transport if required within the territory to visit clients.
· Be organised and flexible to meet the needs of the business.
· Acting as a role model and show absolute loyalty to Home Instead mission and the senior management team.

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
