Senior Care Assistant

Sienna Home Care is looking for a caring, reliable and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our small, friendly team.
We are a private domiciliary care company supporting clients in their own homes, and we are looking for someone who is confident in delivering high-quality care and supporting the wider team.
This role will be a mix of care calls and senior duties, so you will need to be flexible, organised and confident working independently.
Main duties will include:
Providing personal care and support to clients in their own homes
Supporting clients with medication, meals, mobility and daily routines
Completing care notes and records to a high standard
Supporting carers during shadowing, spot checks and general supervision
Helping to monitor client wellbeing and reporting any concerns
Supporting with care plans, risk assessments and reviews where needed
Liaising with families, professionals and the office team
Helping to maintain high standards of care across the service
We are looking for someone who:
Holds an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
Has good communication and documentation skills
Can lead by example and support other carers
Is reliable, flexible and able to use their initiative
Has a good understanding of person-centred care, safeguarding and medication
Has a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle
