Senior Door Supervisors – Colchester
£15.00 per hour | Weekly Pay | Regular Weekend Shifts
Bridgegate Security is recruiting Senior Door Supervisors to strengthen the security team at one of Colchester's busiest established late night venues.
We're looking for experienced, professional Door Supervisors who are ready to take on greater responsibility within the operation, lead by example and help maintain consistently high standards across the team.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Door Supervisor looking to take the next step into a senior position, or an existing Senior or Deputy Head Door Supervisor looking for a regular placement within a busy, established venue.
The Role
As a Senior Door Supervisor, you'll be a trusted and experienced member of the venue security team, taking additional responsibility when required and helping ensure the operation runs professionally and effectively.
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading by example and maintaining high standards across the security team
- Taking responsibility for key positions and areas of the venue
- Supporting the management of admissions, searches, refusals and ejections
- Helping coordinate the team during busy periods and incidents
- Making confident, proportionate decisions when situations require intervention
- Maintaining strong communication with colleagues and venue management
- Ensuring incidents and relevant information are reported accurately
- Taking greater operational responsibility when required
What We're Looking For
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence – essential
- Previous experience working within busy pubs, bars or nightclubs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confident, professional and capable of leading others
- Good judgement and the ability to make sensible decisions under pressure
- Reliable, punctual and well organised
- A team focused attitude and willingness to support colleagues
- High standards of professional conduct and presentation
Previous supervisory experience would be advantageous, but isn't essential. We're equally interested in experienced Door Supervisors who have demonstrated the maturity and ability to progress into a senior role.
