Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Operations to support and oversee the delivery of operational services within a fast-paced, nationwide facilities services company. This is a senior leadership role requiring a strong operational background, proven training capability, and full responsibility for health and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day management and strategic oversight of nationwide operations
- Ensure efficient service delivery across all contracts, maintaining high standards and client satisfaction
- Lead, develop, and support operational teams to achieve performance targets
- Deliver training courses to both internal staff and external clients in line with BESA TR-19 standards
- Design and implement training programmes to enhance workforce capability and compliance
- Maintain full responsibility for health and safety, ensuring adherence to all relevant legislation and best practices
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks across operational sites
- Support business growth through operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
Essential Requirements
- Extensive experience within the facilities services sector, ideally in a senior operational role
- Proven track record in delivering training and developing staff
- Demonstrable leadership and team management experience
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
