Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial work and a strong work ethic, ensuring environments are safe, tidy, and welcoming for clients and staff alike. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to high standards
- Dispose of waste appropriately and replenish supplies such as soap and paper towels
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
- Maintain cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations
- Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when stocks are low
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills to manage daily tasks efficiently
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a professional attitude
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to cleaning activities
