Despatch & Distribution Operative(Permanent, Full Time)
Pay rate is £14.00 per hour.
Location: Chilwell, Nottingham, NG9 6DX
Hours: 80 hours/fortnight
Gerard Poly Mouldings are manufacturers of moulded products for the aerospace industry. We are looking for individuals to join our Despatch department.
Duties Include:
- Prepare products, reporting any discrepancies, damaged goods or missing paperwork.
- Pack products safely and securely ensuring packages are protected from damage during transportation.
- Liaising with the Administration team to ensure packages have the relevant paperwork, labels, etc.
- Provide operational support to the business when despatch duties are completed.
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and record keeping.
- Good organisational skill.
- Ability to lift and move boxes and products safely.
- Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties.

- 9-day fortnight – with flexible start and end times – a typical example is:
Week 1 – Monday – Thursday 6:30am – 4:00pm, Friday 6:30am – 3:00pm
Week 2 – Monday – Thursday 6:30am – 4:00pm, Friday – off
Lunch breaks on workdays are 20-30 minutes.
Please note that due to the physical nature of the work, applicants will need to be capable of lifting/handling 25kg (with assistance).
