We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic and self-motivated bank staff to join our busy Hastings and Rother Neighbourhood Mental Health Team (NMHT)
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring an efficient and confidential service. The role provides plenty of variety in a fast-paced environment, where your prioritising skills will be highly valued.
Evidence of a good general education is required, together with excellent organisational and IT skills. Flexibility, the ability to work on your own initiative and effective communication skills are all essential.
The roles support Consultant Psychiatrists and clinical staff with administrative and secretarial duties, including:
Telephone calls to and from service users, carers, staff
Covering Reception and Switchboard on an ad hoc basis
This role is fully office based due to the nature of the cover needed
You will require:
GCSE standard or equivalent in Maths and English
Previous secretarial/administration experience
Knowledge of software programmes/IT systems, ideally Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook
The ability to remain calm under pressure

We provide secretarial and administrative support to a variety of clinical staff across the patch. The administration team consists of telephonists, receptionists, secretaries and senior administrative staff.
