Job Summary
A lovely family of five are seeking an experienced and hands-on Housekeeper to support the smooth running of their busy family home on a private estate in Berkshire.
The property comprises a five-bedroom residence together with additional estate buildings and grounds. The family are looking for a proactive, reliable and highly discreet individual who takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards and enjoys creating a well-organised and welcoming home environment.
This is a practical role with a strong focus on housekeeping and laundry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the family home, ensuring the property is always presented to a high standard, whilst providing flexible support wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of the family home
- Maintaining consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation throughout the property
- Family laundry, ironing and garment care
- Bed changes and linen management
- Household organisation and general tidiness
- Assisting with the care of two family dogs
- Running occasional household errands
- Providing flexible support to the family as required
- Occasional cooking or meal preparation would be advantageous but is not essential
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience working within a private household, ideally within an HNW environment
- Possess excellent housekeeping, laundry and ironing skills
- Have exceptional attention to detail and take genuine pride in their work
- Be reliable, trustworthy and highly discreet
- Be proactive, organised and capable of working independently
- Enjoy being hands-on and taking ownership of their role
- Be flexible and willing to assist wherever needed
- Be child and dog friendly
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have their own transport due to the estate location
- Be able to provide excellent checkable references

Schedule
Monday-Friday | 8:30am-6:30pm, with occasional weekend support.
Initial 3-Month Contract with Potential to Extend
Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience.
Pay: £20.00-£22.00 per hour
