Baltic Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Newton Aycliffe. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit several Extrusion Operatives on a permanent basis to join their successful and expanding team.
We are seeking reliable, motivated individuals with a strong attention to detail who thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate extrusion lines safely and efficiently in line with company procedures.
- Manufacture products to precise specifications while meeting production targets.
- Carry out routine quality checks to ensure consistent product standards.
- Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Report any machinery faults, defects, or production issues to management.
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative and high-performing team.
Requirements
- Previous extrusion or production/manufacturing experience is an advantage.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Reliable, hardworking, and quality-focused.
Shift Pattern
Continental shifts:
- 2 days, 2 nights
- 7:00am – 7:00pm / 7:00pm – 7:00am
