Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Waiter or Waitress to join our dynamic team at the Upper Deck Restaurant in Rock , right opposite Padstow and next to the most incredible beaches.
The ideal candidates will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring their experience is enjoyable from the moment they arrive until they leave.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere.
- Assist with seating arrangements and manage reservations efficiently. (Using OpenTable and taking phone bookings)
- Provide menu information and recommendations, taking orders accurately.
- Prepare and serve beverages, including bartending duties when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Skills in bartending and food preparation are advantageous.
- A strong understanding of food safety practices is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.

Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
