ROLE OVERVIEW:
As LANX’s Digital Graphic Designer, you’ll be the creative force behind our digital visuals across all major marketing channels. Reporting to the Senior members of the Marketing and Ecommerce team, you’ll design for Website, Email, Digital Ads, Organic Social Media, and occasionally Print and Packaging. Your designs will capture LANX’s no-nonsense spirit, appeal to our adventurous community, and bring our brand to life with visual consistency and impact. Animation and motion skills are a plus, as video content increasingly shapes our social media strategy.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Multi-Channel Design: Create engaging, high-quality designs across key marketing channels, including the website, emails, digital ads, organic social media, and sometimes print and packaging.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs align with LANX’s visual identity, upholding our brand’s tone, practicality, and Lancashire heritage.
- Animation and Moving Image: If skilled in animation or video, support our social media team with motion graphics, short animations, and moving image content for social channels.
- Collaborative Content Creation: Work closely with the Marketing and Creative teams to brainstorm, conceptualise, and deliver creative ideas that drive engagement, brand awareness, and sales.
- Competitive Awareness: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities in fashion and e-commerce, incorporating insights to keep LANX at the forefront of digital design.
- Artworking and Resizing: Prepare, artwork, and resize assets for various marketing uses, ensuring they are ready for digital or print platforms.
- Feedback & Approvals: Liaise with Senior team members to gather input, feedback, and approvals on all major projects.
- Additional Responsibilities: Support any ad-hoc design needs within the Marketing team as required.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in digital design, ideally within the fashion or retail industry.
- Design Software Proficiency: Intermediate proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), with strong photography retouching skills.
- Animation & Video: Proficient knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro to support the creation of motion graphics and video content.
- E-commerce Tools: Experience with Shopify and Klaviyo is highly desirable.
- Creative & Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of current design trends and the ability to effectively apply them in brand campaigns.
- Problem-Solving: Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate briefs into compelling design solutions.
- Project Management: Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to work under pressure, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Mindset: Positive attitude, adaptability, and a strong desire to grow with the company.
WORKING ALONGSIDE:

WORKING DAY & HOURS:
- Full time
- Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5pm
PLACE OF WORK:
- LANX HQ, Whalley, BB7 9YE
- Remote working not available in this role
ANNUAL LEAVE:
- Permitted 28 days annual leave per year
- Permitted a maximum of 5 days of annual leave in October each year
- Due to an exceptionally busy trading period, not permitted to take annual leave in November, December and the first 2 weeks of January
- There may be a Christmas shut down in December for all staff, for which annual leave must be used, dates tbc
- Please note bank holidays are regarded as normal working days at LANX - however staff may request these as annual leave
MUST WORK:
- Annual Sample Sale Weekend - usually March, date tbc
- 2 additional days around Black Friday - usually end of Nov
- For the above additional days annual leave will be granted, or you can be paid 1.5 your normal day rate
