Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will be the face of our village members club, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service. Key shifts will be on Thursdays from 6.45pm -11.15pm and Sundays 4pm-7pm. Additional shifts to cover staff may also be available, and some flexibility in core hours may be negotiated for exceptional candidates.
Please note reliably commuting to Stoneleigh via independent transport is essential.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink options.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety at all times.
- Manage cash register operations, process payments accurately, and handle receipts efficiently.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards diligently to uphold health regulations and company policies.
Skills
- Positive, can-do, and friendly attitude.
- Proficiency in bartending techniques preferable but not essential, training can be given.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions / making change.
- Effective time management to prioritize tasks during busy shifts without compromising quality or safety.
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members.
