About Us
We are a well-established exhibition stand manufacturer based in Bicester, operating from a modern 20,000 sq ft production facility. We design, manufacture, and install high-quality bespoke exhibition stands for clients throughout the UK and Europe.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced Exhibition Carpenters / Installers to join our team.
The Role
This is a hands-on role involving both workshop manufacturing and on-site installation. You will be responsible for producing high-quality exhibition stands, ensuring excellent craftsmanship and delivering projects to tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture bespoke exhibition stands and display structures.
- Assemble timber frameworks, counters, display units, and wall systems.
- Laminate, wrap, and finish wall panels and counters to a high standard.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and production plans.
- Install and dismantle exhibition stands at venues across the UK and occasionally Europe.
- Load, unload, and safely transport exhibition components.
- Operate woodworking machinery and power tools safely.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
- Work closely with project managers and colleagues to deliver projects on schedule.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience as an exhibition carpenter, shopfitter, bench joiner, or similar.
- Strong woodworking and assembly skills.
- The ability to read and work from technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to travel when required.
- A full UK driving licence.
Essential Skills
- Experience using woodworking machinery, power tools, and air tools.
- Confident bench assembly and site installation experience.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
