Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative to join our Responsive Repairs Team to deliver high quality maintenance services across social housing properties.
Working within a fast paced environment, you will carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance work ensuring homes are safe, functional and meet the required standards.
A DBS check and full clean driving licence are mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Carry out responsive repairs and maintenance across domestic social housing properties
- Undertake general building maintenance tasks such as patch plastering, rendering, pointing, tiling and decorating
- Diagnose faults and carry out first-time fixes where possible
- Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety regulations
- Deliver excellent customer service when dealing with tenants and residents
- Use handheld devices to maintain accurate records of work completed
Skills & Experience
- Strong practical skills in Tiling, Pointing, Rendering, Plastering and Decorating with own tools and ladders
- Able to carry out general building maintenance tasks
- Good problem solving skills
- Able to work independently
- Strong understanding of UK Health and Safety practices
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
