Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills across various trades, including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. This role requires a hands-on approach to construction and maintenance tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry tasks, including framing, installation of doors and windows, and cabinetry work.
- Carry out roofing repairs and installations to ensure structural integrity and weatherproofing.
- Execute construction painting duties, preparing surfaces and applying finishes as required.
- Undertake plumbing tasks such as installation and repair of piping systems, fixtures, and fittings.
- Engage in masonry work including bricklaying, blockwork, and stone setting.
- Apply electrical experience to install, maintain, or repair electrical systems in compliance with regulations.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete various tasks.
- Participate in fabrication projects as needed, demonstrating creativity and technical skill.
Requirements
- Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, or electrical work.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trades.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Good physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks.
