Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive service throughout their visit
- Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery and upselling where appropriate to enhance guest experience
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards, maintaining cleanliness and organization at all times
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Maintain a clean and tidy front-of-house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Support team members during busy periods by multitasking effectively and managing time efficiently
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable but not essential; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills
- Experience in serving or waitstaff roles is preferred; familiarity with upselling techniques is a plus
- Kitchen or culinary experience can be advantageous for supporting food prep tasks
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- A team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
