Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and passionate football coach to join our coaching team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching one of our youth teams, delivering high-quality training sessions during the week and managing matches at weekends. There may also be opportunities to coach within our player development programme.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging training sessions for players aged 5-14 .
- Coach and manage a youth team during weekend league fixtures and tournaments.
- Develop players' technical abilities and tactical understanding.
- Create a positive, enjoyable and challenging learning environment.
- Motivate and inspire players to reach their full potential.
- Build positive relationships with players, parents and fellow coaches.
- Promote teamwork, discipline and good sportsmanship.
- Ensure all sessions and matchdays are safe, organised and enjoyable.
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS Check (essential – can be obtained upon joining).
- FA Introduction to Coaching Football / FA Level 1 (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of football coaching and player development.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Reliable, enthusiastic and professional.
- A passion for developing young players.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Pay: £15–£20 per hour (depending on experience)
