Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and personable Sales Development Representative / Appointment Setter to join our client's growing sales team on a full-time basis.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for new enquiries, responsible for rapidly engaging inbound leads, qualifying prospects, and booking them in for Discovery Calls with the sales team. You will manage lead follow-up, keep the CRM accurate and up to date, and help ensure a smooth handover from first contact through to a booked appointment.

Responsibilities
- Call all new inbound leads promptly, working through the leads list starting with the newest
- Screen and qualify leads using a structured qualification script
- Book Discovery Calls for the sales team, or send closing information where appropriate
- Send pre-appointment trust-building communications via WhatsApp and email
- Make reminder calls ahead of each booked appointment to confirm attendance
- Notify the relevant Sales Rep immediately if an appointment looks at risk of no-show
- Work through cold and re-engagement leads lists in rotation with other team members
- Log all call outcomes and lead activity accurately in the CRM
- Assign yourself as the lead owner in CRM as soon as first contact is made
- Attend daily team check-ins and report on assigned metrics
- Match incoming leads to source and keep tracking logs up to date
- Monitor messaging channels (WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram DMs) and action or escalate promptly
- Communicate professionally with prospects by phone, email, and video call
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a sales development, appointment setting, telesales, or lead qualification role is essential
- Confident, friendly telephone manner with strong objection-handling skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage a high volume of leads and work to deadlines
- Comfortable working towards daily and monthly targets
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Qualifications & Experience Level
- Minimum 1 year's experience in a sales, telesales, or customer-facing lead generation role required
- Experience in a professional services or client-facing sales environment would be desirable
- Driven, resilient individuals with a track record of hitting call and booking targets are preferred
