What you’ll be doing:
- Complete nightly checklists thoroughly and accurately.
- Perform general front desk duties including check-in/check-out, customer service, answering phones, and providing guest information.
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs by asking questions and observing preferences.
- Be familiar with all accounting and auditing practices relevant to the front office.
- Maintain a strong front desk presence during peak times if on night reception, and support night reception if on audit.
- Proactively complete tasks and checklists; carry out delegated work from Night Managers efficiently and on time.
- Focus strongly on guest and staff safety and security.
- Assist the Night Manager with walk-in guests where appropriate.
- Attend meetings when possible and contribute ideas for improvement.
- Help maintain smooth communication and relations between day and night teams.
More about you…
- Previous hotel front office or customer service experience is essential.
- Opera PMS knowledge is preferred; night shift experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing), teamwork, and a positive outlook.
- Be innovative, reliable, proactive, and flexible.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) working night shifts.
