We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiting Staff to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. A strong focus on food safety, time management, and guest satisfaction is essential to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure tables are clean, set up correctly, and cleared efficiently after each guest
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed, adhering to food safety standards
- Handle guest enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organised service station throughout shifts
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently, including food safety procedures
- Manage multiple tables efficiently during busy periods with excellent time management skills
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Familiarity with serving procedures, food safety standards, and basic food preparation techniques is desirable
- Knowledge of culinary practices or kitchen experience can be beneficial in understanding the overall operation of the establishment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during peak hours
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately

Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour
